DOUGLAS MADDI

Consultant

Doug proudly serves as 5th Principle’s Director of Operations.  Prior to joining Team 5th Principle, he worked as a consultant in the military acquisition arena.  Doug is a serial entrepreneur, who also collaborated with several other companies in providing services, leadership, and team development consulting.

Doug’s military career spanned four decades of conflict serving in Ranger, Airborne, Light and Mechanized Infantry Organizations.  He led teams from five to thirty-five hundred comprised of both military and civilian members.  Doug’s most beneficial asset is his interpersonal approach to guiding individual and teams, which have resulted in them achieving results beyond their own perceived expectations.  Doug truly believes in and is passionate about 5th Principle’s slogan of “Building Cohesive Teams, One Individual at a Time (SM) ,” as he has seen the results through his “lens.”

Well versed in the Department of Defense acquisition process and DOTMILPF-P, Doug is able to effortlessly provide insights for individuals or organizations looking to enter into federal contracts. In his culminating job in uniform, Doug advised and assisted in Army programs with a portfolio value of over one billion dollars annually.

Doug received many accolades and honors during his military service, but none more valued to him than the gift to be called an Army Veteran.  
 
Doug has been with his amazing wife Jenny (Aliffi) Maddi for over eighteen years, and they live in South East Georgia.
