Jeff Stitzel retired from the United States Army in 2018 after a distinguished 30+ year career.
After retirement, Jeff joined Fusion Technology LLC. As their senior executive in the DC area, he interfaces with industry partners and business leaders. He capitalizes on his experiences to lead the company’s strategy for the Departments of Defense, State, and Veteran Affairs. In his role he partners and leads high level client engagements in order to support their IT needs.
During his military career, Jeff served in senior positions throughout the Army and Defense Department. His Senior Executive positions were with the Joint Improvised-threat Defeat Organization, US Army Africa, and Africa Command. His deployments include Afghanistan, Iraq, Horn of Africa, and Liberia during the Ebola outbreak.

Jeff was honored as the Army’s first NCO of the Year when he won the inaugural Best Warrior Competition in 2002. In 2001, he was selected as the Alaskan Chapter of the American Red Cross Military Hero of the Year when he saved an Airman’s life after a vehicle accident. Jeff’s achievements include being awarded the Distinguished Service Medal and Defense Superior Service Medal, and recognition as a Distinguished member of the 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment and the 3rd US Infantry (The Old Guard). He earned a Bachelor of Science from Park University and a Master of Science in Public Administration from Central Michigan University.
Jeff and his wife Maria reside in Northern Virginia and have raised three children: Miranda a kindergarten teacher in Northern Virginia, Matt currently serving at Ft. Campbell, and Justin who is serving at Ft. Bragg.
